Initially I drafted a long story about Android head-to-head with iOS and the final thoughts. Instead of final thoughts, I've made a decision. Having two smartphones doesn't make my life easier, therefore I gotta say goodbye to one of'em.
Apps - the number game doesn't matter, quality matters. iOS offers both
Value for money - luxury car (SGS II) + free driver (Android) vs luxury car (iPhone) + well trained driver (iOS)
UI - cool UI, cool widgets, cool keyboard but beware of ram usage (Android). Simple icons, simple UI, no widgets but you never need to worry bout ram management (iOS).
Adobe Flash - you need on your computer or tabs but I don't really think you need it on your smartphone.
SD Card - Oh, save on phone or save on sd card? Aiks, why I can't move this to sd card? Storage management is for stone age. And internal storage is always faster.
Accessories - Less model = more variety of accessories.
Software Update Support - 'Hey idiot, drive carefully' 'WTF, I'm hired for free, what did you expect?' (Android). Hey idiot, drive carefully' 'I'm optimized for this vehicle but I'm bitten by some bugs. My replacement will be here soon' (iOS).
Sync - I used to hate iTunes like anyone else. But how do i backup the whole droid? OMG
Ease of use - everything is on the desk, not hiding inside the drawer. if your grandma uses iPhone before, I believe she definitely knows how to use iPhone3G, 3GS, 4 & 4S.
I'll be letting go my Mi410 anytime soon. If you're interested, please contact me.
